Renowned artist and teacher Stanley Lewis will conduct Plein Air Painting sessions in the stunning Burgundy countryside surrounding the commune of Mailly-le-Château. Daily outdoor on-site sessions and instruction are followed by critique and discussion in the studio. Students live in the magnificent Chateau de Mailly, dating back to the 13th century. Here is a chance to study with this artist/educator who has influenced generations of artists.

France Course Fees include train station pickup to/from the commune of Mailly-le-Château, single or double room occupancy in the beautiful Château de Mailly, with access to kitchen facility, fresh morning coffee, tea, breads and croissants, catered gourmet lunches and dinners, classrooms, daily class sessions with your instructor, weekly excursions including Paris, and sites in Burgundy such as Vézelay and Autun. A group exhibition and poetry reading takes place at the end of the session.

Italy Course Fees include round trip shuttle service to and from Rome Airport, three gourmet meals per day, single or double room accommodations (upgrades available), studio space, professional instruction, weekly trips to important cultural sites in Umbria and Tuscany, and a group exhibition at the end of the session.

You may enroll in an additional class in the same session (at a different time of day) for a discounted rate of $650 for a two-week class.
