Spring Residency/Mentoring Session with Jutta Haeckel and Kevin Wixted
The Spring Mentoring Program is led by two painters, Dusseldorf-based Jutta Haeckel and New York-based Kevin Wixted.  The Program runs for a four-week period, and includes both cohort and individual meetings. The first two weeks are conducted online by Zoom, and consist of critique, readings and conversation. The final two weeks take place in the studios at Monte Castello di Vibio, where you meet and work with your cohort members and faculty. Each artist has a private studio, and participates in weekly individual and group critiques. Research excursions to Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto occur weekly. Here you will build a lasting community of colleagues while experiencing great Italian art and culture. The course culminates with a group exhibition.

France Course Fees include train station transport to/from the commune of Mailly-le-Château, single or double room occupancy in the beautiful Château de Mailly, with access to kitchen facility, fresh morning breads and croissants, prepared gourmet dinners, classrooms, daily class sessions with your instructor, weekly excursions including Paris museums, and sites in Burgundy such as Vézelay and Autun.

Italy Course Fees include round trip shuttle service to and from Rome Airport, three gourmet meals per day, single or double room accommodations (upgrades available), studio space, professional instruction, weekly trips to important cultural sites in Umbria and Tuscany, and a group exhibition at the end of the session.

You may enroll in an additional class in the same session (at a different time of day) for a discounted rate ($650 for a two-week class and $350 for a one-week class).
