The Artist Residency Program runs from one to four weeks, in the Spring (April, May) and Fall (September, October) months. Residents are given a private spacious studio and accommodation, and experience the daily rituals of village life. This is a more tranquil time in Monte Castello di Vibio, when the village celebrates such events as Easter festivities in spring and the wine and olive harvests in fall. This is a chance to experience the pleasures of living in an Umbrian hilltop town, and take a deep dive into one’s studio practice without interruption.

Residency fees offer an all-inclusive experience. They include round-trip transportation from Rome Fiumicino Airport to Monte Castello di Vibio, single room with shared bathroom (upgrades available), three wonderful chef-prepared Umbrian meals per day (wine included, vegan and gluten free meals available), private individual studio, weekly excursions to important art sites in Umbria and Tuscany, and a public exhibition at the end of your residency.
